Indufor's Resource Monitoring dashboards provide an effective estate-wide tool that identifies and tracks plantation area changes. The dashboard hosts data created by Indufor's resource profiling algorithms. These algorithms analyse current and historical satellite images. The GIS layers produced streamline the area review process by allowing rapid assessment of plantation performance, and identification of areas impacted by wind damage, fire and disease.
Intuitive web-based GIS technology is used to deliver data to our customers using web apps. Web apps are dashboard-style and web-based interfaces that provide secure, simple and easy solution to access resource information. Web app interfaces are fully customisable to provide unique and relevant information that is updated either via field collection (tablets) or satellite imagery.

A feature of the operations dashboard is that it summarises changes across the estate. Layers are refreshed, so to capture harvesting events or changes in canopy cover. The example uses Indufor's 'MO' system which tracks an area over time for change.
Change alerts are triggered and reported on an interactive dashboard. Each alert is summarised to show its location, alert date(s), frequency of alerts and temporal profile. This information is supported by satellite imagery for illustration.
The output of this analysis is represented as a ‘disturbance score’ which tracks the change in canopy condition between two points in time. Harvesting activities are detected using a harvest tracking algorithm, and as changes occur, these are synchronised to the dashboard.
The Resource Insights dashboard hosts data created by Indufor’s resource profiling algorithms. These algorithms analyse current and historical satellite images or LiDAR data.
The layers created contain information on the planted area, its age-class distribution and past and current harvest levels.
The dashboard graphs provide an up-to-date overview of the resource that links to the map. Any changes, such as harvesting are captured and updated using Indufor’s monitoring processes.
The process developed creates up-to-date information delivered via an easy to use online dashboard. Such information assists in the development of resource management strategies and future-looking forecasts.
